Following recent announcements from carriers on a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) to be applied from
cargo from Asia and India Subcontinent origins Vanguard Logistics Services will be doing the same with all
FCL and LCL cargo on these trades. The PSS Surcharges to be applied and their effective dates are as follows:
The PSS for FCL cargo will be;
FCL – North & East Asia;
USD 250.00 per teu
FCL – South East Asia and India Subcontinent;
USD 150.00 per teu
As a result the effect on all LCL cargo will be as follows;
LCL – Hong Kong, Taiwan;
USD 10.00 w/m
LCL – China;
USD 8.00 w/m
LCL – South East Asia and India Subcontinent;
USD 6.00 w/m
Carriers have not confirmed the duration of the Peak Season period. Vanguard Logistics will apply the PSS
on both FCL and LCL cargo according to the levels and duration of the carriers in use.
